Edgemont Village Exploratory Committee (EVEC) A full analysis will be done before coming to any conclusion as to whether the committee will recommend to the community for or against forming the seventh village within the Town of Greenburgh, New York. EVEC White Paper EVEC is composed of interested residents who represent a cross-section of the community in regards to neighborhood, size and type of home, age, children living at home or not, income, wealth, political affiliation and reason to investigate the possibilities of incorporation. To assess both the viability and desirability of Edgemont becoming a village, the committee is proceeding along a clearly defined path of issue identification, investigation, and analysis. A full analysis will be done before coming to any conclusion as to whether or not the committee will propose to the community to form the seventh village within the Town of Greenburgh. The Edgemont Villagization Exploratory Committee (EVEC) will be holding it's next four general sessions on the following dates: Please note a change in date! The next meeting of the Edgemont Village Exploratory Committee (EVEC) will be held on Tuesday, June 21st at 8:00 p.m., in the EHS Cafeteria. This meeting marks the culmination of over a year-and-a-half of work researching the issues regarding incorporation as a village, and will include presentations from the legal and economic subcommittees. All Edgemont residents are encouraged to participate.
